Once Catalyst has identified an area of interest, we often engage entrepreneurs who have knowledge or expertise in the sector and who are looking to become active managers. Catalyst works closely with them to frame out an investment thesis and develops a list of target companies to research. In the case of a build-up, a list of acquisition candidates is compiled to form the basis of a platform company.
Catalyst Entrepreneurs typically stay involved in the management of such portfolio investments as officers of the company, board members or in a consulting capacity.
